Prof. Dr. Lars Grüne und Dr. Robert Baier organisieren am 12.-15. März 2019 zusammen mit ihren israelischen Kolleginnen und Kollegen Dr. Elza Farkhi und Prof. Dr. Michael Margaliot (beide von der Tel Aviv University) einen bilateralen Workshop „Applied Mathematics Bayreuth – Tel Aviv“ [en] in der Universität in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Der Workshop soll bestehende Kooperationen zwischen israelischen Universitäten und der Universität Bayreuth vertiefen und Forschende aus der Angewandten Mathematik zusammenbringen. Der Ausbau der Kooperation wird vom Präsidenten der Universität Prof. Dr. Stefan Leible und Dr. Arnim Heinemann (International Office) unterstützt.
An dem Workshop nehmen zudem auf Bayreuther Seite Prof. Dr. Thomas Kriecherbauer, Prof. Dr. Alfred Wassermann und Prof. Dr. Holger Wendland teil.

Bilateral Workshop “Applied Mathematics Bayreuth – Tel Aviv”

March 12 - 15, 2019

Prof. Dr. Lars Grüne and Dr. Robert Baier organize a bilateral workshop on “Applied Mathematics Bayreuth – Tel Aviv” in Tel Aviv University, Israel at March 12-15, 2019 together with their Israeli collegues Dr. Elza Farkhi and Prof. Dr. Michael Margaliot (both from Tel Aviv University).

The workshop intends to deepen existing cooperations between Israeli universities and the University of Bayreuth and bring together researchers from the field of Applied Mathematics. The extension of the cooperation is supported by the President of the University of Bayreuth, Prof. Dr. Stefan Leible, and Dr. Arnim Heinemann (International Office). Further participants of the workshop from the University of Bayreuth will be Prof. Dr. Thomas Kriecherbauer, Prof. Dr. Alfred Wassermann and Prof. Dr. Holger Wendland.
