Am 17.-18. Oktober 2019 findet der von Prof. Dr. Lars Grüne und Dr. Robert Baier organisierte zweite Teil des bilateralen Workshop „Applied Mathematics Bayreuth – Israel“ in Bayreuth statt. Der 2. Workshop wird zusammen mit den israelischen Kolleginnen und Kollegen Dr. Elza Farkhi und Prof. Dr. Michael Margaliot (beide von der Tel Aviv University) organisiert.

Der zweite Workshop ist eine Fortsetzung des ersten Workshops und soll bestehende Kooperationen zwischen Forschende aus der Angewandten Mathematik vertiefen. Er ist Teil der von der Universität geplanten strategischen Partnerschaft zwischen israelischen Universitäten und der Universität Bayreuth und wird von ihr gefördert.

The second part of the bilateral workshop on “Applied Mathematics Bayreuth – Israel” will take place in Bayreuth and is organized by Prof. Dr. Lars Grüne and Dr. Robert Baier together with their Israeli collegues Dr. Elza Farkhi and Prof. Dr. Michael Margaliot (both from Tel Aviv University).

The second workshop is a continuation of the first workshop and intends to deepen existing cooperations between researchers from the field of Applied Mathematics. The workshop is part of the planned strategic partnership between Israeli universities and the University of Bayreuth and it is financially funded by the University of Bayreuth.
