Support Centre of the Department of Mathematics

General information

The “Support Centre of the Department of Mathematics” is in the seminar room S79. It is a place for work - either in a group or alone - and a place to get answers to mathematical questions. Moreover you get help in your studies by mathematicians of the department and students in higher semesters.

The support centre is also an ideal place to find people to work with and companions.

During semester the support centre is open from 12 o’clock. Mathematicians of the department come to help, e.g. in the process of finding solutions for exercises or by answering mathematical questions.

During vacation the room is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., but there are no staff members present.

The support centre has a site in the university's e-Learning system. Logged in you find the “Stundenplan” (time table) where help hours, supporting person and area of expertise are listed.
