Bachelor’s Programme “Economathematics”
Here, prospective graduates of the economathematics programme complete a degree in mathematics with an integrated university education in economics and computer science. During their studies, they learn how to apply their mathematical knowledge in economic contexts with the help of state-of-the-art information technology. As graduates, they are highly sought-after in the insurance and financial sector, in industry, and in public administration for their ability to think abstractly and their confidence in logical thinking. Their ability to understand and mathematically model economic problems and to use IT technology to quantitatively assess complex relationships makes a substantial contribution to the economic success of their employers.
